Group of American Silver ‘Kings’ Designs Pattern Flatware, Various Makers, comprising 4 ‘English King’ pattern breakfast or salad forks and 3 soup spoons, Tiffany & Co., designed by Charles D. Grosjean, the pattern introduced in 1885, not monogrammed, each marked TIFFANY & CO. STERLING PAT. 1885, M; 7 ‘King George’ pattern soup spoons, Gorham Mfg. Co., 1875-1900, engraved with various script initials, 6 marked STERLING and factory mark incuse, three with letter A and three with letter Z; and 1 engraved with the Gothic letter A factory mark, STERLING and GORHAM-INC. Together with 2 ‘Kings’ pattern silverplate oyster forks, Reed & Barton, a silverplate cheese scoop, and 2 silver-handled butter spreaders, one engraved with the name SWIFT on the blade, marked with pseudo hallmarks and H.H. & Co.; the other unmarked. 28 oz. weighable.
