Length overall 89 inches, barrel length 72 inches. American restocking of early English and Dutch parts, early lock, late 17th or early 18th century. Belonged to Mayor Provost of New York in the 18th century. Includes a shingle from the home of mayor Provost.
Provenance: acquired from the Staten Island fire chief after Provost’s home was condemned.
