Lot 198:
Very large, approximately 4 feet long, copper with lead weight in the leading edge. Verdigris surface, the original gilt surface has worn away. Mid 19th century, possibly made in Burnside’s factory. Accompanied by a hand written note stating the weathervane was removed from Burnside’s farm on Ferry Road, when the barn was demolished.
