Depicting the Stations of the Cross with titles below, carved wood with stained and gilt highlights, signed on back with oval ink stamps reading “Giac. Vinc. Mussner / Scultore / Ortisei 240”, three of the panels carved with GVM monogram lower left, Italy c. 1920. The Mussner family was famous for carving religious and sacred art for use in churches. Giacomo founded the Mussner workshop in 1892 in Ortisei, Italy, a town known for its fine wood carving tradition. 20 inches by 13 7/8 inches.
