This lot contains an ad showing the Borzois, Deerhounds, and fox terriers that the duchess of Newcastle(Kathleen Florence May Pelham Clinton) has for sale. This lot also contains 3 signed letter from Fred Gardner(was supervisor for Mr Arthur O Mudie Kennel, for many years was in charge of kennels of Mrs Merrick-Hoare of Luscombe Castle and clumber park Kennels for Duchess of Newcastle) Discussing dogs that the dutchess thinks would be fitting for the client. the lot also contains 5 pedigrees and certificate of dogs from the duchess of New Castle from the late 19th Century. Zither A Borzoi(was on ad of dogs for sale), Viborg Borzoi(mentioned in letter), Bitch Vera Borzoi, Sverkay Borzoi. some of these are show champion dogs. these documents are all sent to a Mrs Chamberlain. kennel club certificate.
