Captain of company A second battalion mass volunteers, lieutenant colonel 43rd ma regiment, superintendent of recruiting for Plymouth county, lieutenant colonel 58th regiment mass volunteer infantry. saw and fought in many battles. suffered a fractured rib after being hit by a musket ball at Bethesda church.
