Seat height 18.5 inches, overall height 55.75 inches, width across arms 25.5 inches. This chair is one of a pair once owned by the Stanley Family of Hartford. Its mate is in the collection of the Connecticut Historical Society, and is illustrated in "Connecticut Furniture: Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries, " Wadsworth Athenaeum exhibition catalog, 1967.
