Christopher Potter, Rue de Crussol, Circa 1790. Comprising 1 teapot and stand, 1 sugar bowl and cover, 1 cream jug, 8 teacups, 6 coffee cups and 7 saucers; the serving pieces each painted on the front or sides with a pink rose spray, surrounded by borders of aubergine iris and scrolls joined by delicate vinery, within gilt foliate and husk borders, each coffee cup gilt "Potter a Paris" in script letters. Height of coffeepot 6 inches, diameter of saucer 5.5 inches. (25)
