Decorated with a dragon amid clouds, lotus finial on cover, signed on bottom with six character mark and an impressed two character mark, late 19th c. Height 5.5 inches. Finial is reattached and has a couple of small flakes on the petals. Taizan Yohei was a renowned Kyoto potter who won many international prizes including at the 1893 Columbian Exposition.
