Lot 24 – Staffordshire Saltglaze Stoneware Pectin Shell Teapot:
Circa 1755. Finely molded on either side with a pectin shell flanked by flowering vinery, the cover with two matching shells, the spout molded at the base on one side with a mask issuing a snake around the sides and ending in a snake’s head tip. Height 4.875 inches, length 5.5 inches.
