Dutch Silver Snuff Box, Christiaan Jacobs Bruinings (Brunings), 1850, of square section with bowed front and back sides, engine-turned within reeded, molded and diagonal line borders, dot pricked beneath the base with the initials “H.J.P/ 1862,” maker’s mark 77 B into a square beneath the cover and base, date letter to side of cover, lion passant 2nd standard purity mark beneath base. Height 1 ½ x 1 ½ inches. Together with a silverplate scallop shell box, unmarked. (2)
