By Oliver of Ise’s descendants, 19th century wood and pigments. Establishing the identity and region were objects and artists came from has been an interesting ongoing scholarly project especially focused on the Yoruba, Igbo and Edo- Benin sculptor. This Epa headdress appeared in celebrations honoring social roles.
