Masks of this kind worn by men and represents a successful warrior or hero worthy of a bride, the first daughter of a wealthy family. It is adorned with cowrie shells and trade beads depicting the wishes of abundance and beauty being transferred from her father during her wedding ceremony. The mask comes in pairs, the groom and the bridal mask perform during a bridal party and events ( Babende society) symbolizes blessings.
