Hand painted Zsolnay style floral decoration with reticulated gilt rim, signed “Lang M Budapest” with some illegible impressed marks, Budapest, Hungary, late 19th c. Mihaly Lang was a porcelain painter at Herend in the early 1880’s. From 1884 to 1898 he worked as a ceramicist and painter at the Varoslod Porcelain Manufacture. Diameter 11 3/8 inches.
