Watercolor on paper, 8 x 12 inches, sight, signed lower right. Alfred Kantor was a Holocaust survivor who painted scenes of daily life at concentration camps, which were later published in The Book of Alfred Kantor. Kantor moved to the United States in 1947, and lived for many years in Yarmouth, which is where this painting was created.
