(Poland b. 1933), titled Idyll (Sielanka) on label, 1970’s, signed with initials lower right and with Cepelia label on back. 82 x 59 inches. Cepelia was a Polish arts and handicrafts foundation that was founded after World War II in order to introduce Polish arts to the west and to provide income to Polish artists. Piotr Grabowski was among their most famous tapestry artists.
