A mahogany and poplar sewing box, veneered with mahogany and bird’s-eye maple in a great old undisturbed surface. Original brass, lock, and key in end drawer. All resting on four brass paw feet. North Shore MA, c.1810-15. Width 11 inches, depth 7 1/2 inches, height 6 1/4 inches.
