Nineteenth century, 18 x 16 inches, old staple repair. Painted in black enamel in the center medallion with the initial “Q” in foliate script, encircled by four qilin alternating with trellis diaperwork edged in a border of dumbbells and spearheads, surrounded by floral and pine cone clusters within the characteristic ‘Fitzhugh’ border.
