We offer several ways to bid in our sales, including in person, online and absentee bidding. Not all methods are available for all of our sales, please contact us with any questions about how to bid in any of our sales.
In Person Bidding
To bid in person at one of our live auctions, you will need to provide a driver’s license or other form of ID, and register with the cashier prior to bidding. Dealers with a resale certificate will need to provide a copy to the cashier at registration or checkout. If you have previously bid with us, your information will be saved in our system.
We offer online bidding through Our Own Bidding Platform, LiveAuctioneers and Invaluable. You will need to register for an account with the platform of your choice, and provide a credit card in order to register to bid in our sales. You can leave pre-bids prior to the auction, as well as participate in the live sale.
You may leave bids prior to the sale either in person with the cashier or auctioneer, or by calling us at 207-370-4746. You may also e-mail bids to firstname.lastname@example.org. For bidders not known to us, we may request a letter of credit from your bank and/or another American auction house. Please note: absentee bids are executed as a courtesy, and we claim no responsibility for failure to execute bids.
Item Pick-Up, Shipping & Delivery
Items are available for pickup the day of the auction, or pickup can be arranged after the sale at our auction space in Freeport.
For transport of large items, we have contacts with multiple companies that specialize in the transport of fine art and antiques, and will work with them to get a delivery quote.
For most small items, we offer very reasonable in house packing and shipping, your invoice will include the packing and shipping fee, so you only have to pay once. For certain more complex and larger pieces, we use a third party shipping partner, Goin’ Postal, and they will contact you with a shipping price for your purchase.
