Signed “E T Hurley†on the bottom and possibly dated 1917, height 11 inches, original patina. Edward Timothy Hurley (Ohio 1869-1950) was a painter, etcher, and sculptor in bronze. From 1896 to 1948 he was a celebrated decorator at Rookwood pottery.
